Introduction

Oldbury College of Sport is part of the South Sandwell Consortium, which allows students to access a large number of programmes with a variety of exciting course combinations. Working in collaboration with Holly Lodge High School College of Science and Perryfields High School each campus has a specialism for a curriculum area. You can combine a core curriculum with quality pastoral care within their home campus with a range of course combinations, or where programmes may operate over two campuses, transport between each campus is organised to ensure safe and reliable movement of learners.

Oldbury College of Sport is the largest school in Sandwell Local Authority and caters for a range of student abilities, aptitudes and interests. We have high standards of care, discipline and work and have high expectations and high aspirations. Our ethos is built around support and guidance that allows and encourages our students to flourish within a very friendly and professional environment.

Facilities

Oldbury College of Sport is a leading school in the area of Sports and Fitness. It has a wide range of excellent facilities including Sports Hall, Gym and Fitness Centre, Dance and Drama Studio, and Sauna/Steam rooms. We keenly await our £24million new building on the current site in 2010.

Opportunities

There are a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities on offer and student participation is very much encouraged. From study support sessions throughout the year, to involvement in our extensive educational visits programme, there is so much on offer (and not forgetting the opportunity to relax in the sauna after a demanding day!).

Support

We invest heavily in caring for our students and Heads of House, Assistant Heads of House, Pastoral Support Managers. Your Form Tutors are central to guiding our students through their education at the school. Happy students are successful students!
